Torvaldsland Discussion
I went to a discussion tonight that was really enjoyable. It was directed towards Free Men in Gor roleplay. It had the feeling of sermon in some bits but not completely. And not self-righteous either. This gentleman, or Jarl, was from Texas and had such a charismatic and humorous way of talking about Torvaldsland custom and honor that I found myself giggling and laughing out loud often while still taking away knowledge of how a real Master (and I use this term with care, beware the “twue way-ers” in roleplay and in the reality of BDSM and D/s) may act within the North in roleplay of Gor. And I find that I like it.
Apparently this will be the beginning of a series of discussions from this guy. I was nervous and asked one of the owners of the SIM if I could attend without roleplaying. She said “of course!” and proceeded to send me a TP. I took care to be inconspicuous nonetheless. The atmosphere was a warm one I thought. Mmm…. things to ponder.
